Three of the many varieties of throw pillows I have made. Some have bows, others buttons and others are left simple. A great addition to a couch, chair or bed to add a splash of colour.

Refurbished an old desk to look rustic.topped it with some thrift finds: mirror, old phone, hand mirror and a mason jar for hair elastics. used a storage ottoman (flea market find) as a stool.

found this great round little jar with a cork. add some stuffing and some fabric, and voila, a pin cushion that can hold extra pins or a tape measure or whatever you like.

made from steps from our old basement stairs. no need to let amazing wood go to waste! plus our bed is quite high and it can be difficult to find tall night stands

medium length curtains using Ikea fabric and wood hoops from the thrift store. This was taken in our old house and since then these curtains have been upcycled to fit our new house.

These were made for the living room of our old house. Made with Ikea fabric. I double layered these curtains with a plain set of linen curtains so that from the outside people don't see the back of printed fabric.

I found this on the side of the road near a friends house. It started out as a honey coloured unity with glass doors on top and plain solid doors at the bottom. With a little love, paint and wire, it is now a country chic corner unit that houses my caffeinated beverages.

Oh Holy Night Painting. Stenciled and painted. Below it hangs our advent calendar; burlap sacks with no.1-25 and each a candy and a Bible Verse leading to Christmas day.

I found this old rocking chair frame at a garage sale, stripped it down, repainted, and refurbished it with an interesting print.

I found an old door in my garage, so I cut it to size, and painted a design on it. The my husband helped attach it to our bed frame to create a unique feature to the bed.

One of my favourite pieces, this old dressform was left on the side of the road. With all the pieces still in tact and functioning, all it needed was some new fabric.

I turned my plain untreated Ikea table into a country chic table. Surrounded by some antique chairs, this is a great dining room feature.

I purchased two identical lamps. Originally gold metallic. I added a couple coats of spray paint and some fabric strips to shade to create these modern new-to-me bedside lamps.

This dresser began as a honey coloured dresser. I added some paint and a print to the drawer fronts to create this unique piece with matching bedside tables and mini dresser.

I found this beauty in a thrift store. It was missing two drawers, which is why I'm guessing it was given the boot. I reorganized the drawers and modge-podged some interesting images onto the drawer fronts to create this unique piece.
