Simply Yellouw 

 

Jelma Louw, self-titled CEO of Simply Yellouw.

Not an American J, not a silent J nor a spanish J, but rather a European J, pronounced like a Y.

 

The name Simply Yellouw is simply a blend of my name. 

After graduating from Redeemer University with a B.A in Art and Psychology and B.Ed, I got married, we bought our first house and the projects began. 

 

Located in Southern Ontario, with my husband, son and dog, I spend my days gardening, sewing, and doing DIY projects.

Very rarely will I buy something new. I enjoy the challenge of making something unwanted into something wanted.

 

I think there is a lot of STUFF in our world. When I see the garbage mounds growing higher,

it makes me cringe and think "what have we done?" 

We have a mandate to care for our earth, and I try to do so by reusing and refurbishing already existing things into something that can be enjoyed again.
